Tayo revealed that although she recently shared her wedding photos, she has been married for a while and dated her husband for seven years before they eventually tied the knot.

“I am married. My husband is not in the movie industry. I have been married for a while. I had known my husband forabout seven years before we got married. If you know me,you will know that I am the kind of person that loves my personal life. I have been with my husband for seven years.
“I read some blog’s posts and laugh; they should feel free totag anybody. I love keeping my personal life private; that is why I decided to marry secretly. I did not get married this year; I only just posted the pictures some months ago.”
“There is time for everything and I want to believe that whatever you want to do, you create the time for it. For me, some people send me messages saying that they have not been seeing me in movies like they used to; sometimes you leave work to pursue money. There are times that I choose a time to do movies and whoever calls me at that time, if I am free, I will shoot about two or three movies.
“There are other times that I can not do movies. Trust me, this clothing business takes time, except you just don’t have that vision. I recently opened a branch in Abuja where' I have a house because I have a lot of customers there. Right now,I am more into my business ― making and selling clothes.
“I have the face already. If I leave the movie industry for a while to do my business, I will return and no one will notice that I was gone. I have plenty of films that are not out yet. So,when I am busy doing some other things, those ones will come out. That is how I try to balance them. It is when I have time that I shoot movies”. Ace music producer Don Jazzy yesterday shocked the world when he announced he had an ex-wife by the name Michelle Jackson after posting photos of their wedding.
The Mavin CEO whom many had before yesterday regarded as a top bachelor, revealed that he got married when he was just 20 years old and got divorced 2 years later because he gave more attention to his music.
He further stated that he regretted the action, but his love for music can not be replaced with any other thing in the world.

“I getting married? Well truth is almost 18 years ago I was 20 and I got married to my best friend Michelle @yarnstaswitch and it was beautiful. I loved love and I loved marriage. Some social media users reacting in the comment section of her post are however claiming it was a sort of publicity stunt. The marriage between- Ubi Franklin and Lilian Esoro has been officially dissolved.
This is according to a court document indicating that the divorce which was filed by Ubi Franklin at an Abuja High Court, was granted.
The ex-wife to the music label -executive had initially filed for divorce at a Lagos court, which was denied by the Judge.
The presiding judge had on Monday July 8, 2019 ruled that the divorce proceedings have been cancelled stating further that the reason for both parties wanting a divorce is not valid.
The court also noted both parties should settle their differences and that since Lilian confirmed that Ubi provides for their child and both of them are very good friends, then there is no reason for a divorce.
The celebrity couple who got married in November 2015 and had their son, Jayden in 2016, started having issues after the birth of their son with news of trouble in their marriage awash on social media until they both decided to part ways as husband and wife.
A source who gave reason for their decision to separate, stated that the actress always complained about how distanced her husband was. “He never showed up in any of her filming location and this was often a thing of worry for Lilian”, he said. An Igbo man took to social media to lament about the highcost of getting married in Igboland.
Making particular reference to the demands on the marriage lists given to intending grooms in Nnewi, Anambra state, the man who made his complaint via his Twitter handle @Kene_Nnewi, said youths in each Igbo community popularly known as Umunna, need to reduce the demands they make to men who come seeking the hands of the female members of their community in marriage.

''I have kicked against this in my umunna and will fight it until the -executive adjust it... If you can... fight for yours as well. Igba-Nkwu in igboland is getting more expensive every day by day.. A bride-to-be, Fatima Hassan Fari has died on her wedding day in Funtua Local Government Area of Katsina State.
It was gathered that Fatima died at 7:am on Saturday, January 2, 2021, three hours to her wedding Fatiha slated at 10:am.
She was buried at 2:pm same Saturday, according to Islamic rites.
Meanwhile, friends and family members have taken to Facebook to mourn her death. A school friend, Mallam Muhammad Sani Isah described Fatima as an upright lady and a humanitarian.
"Farewell to my school friend Fatima Hassan Fari , who left us today's morning to go to a better place where'' there is no pain and she can join her father,' he wrote.
"I truely had her in a million, she was a perfect upright ledy and total humanitarian. No matter what people said or if they did her wrong she would not judge but look for an amicable solution.She faced foe with a brave heart and would not retreat from the cause until all parties were happy. I at times accused her of making excuses for the devil. Her motto was "even if the other person is wrong you do what is right!"
"Innallahi wainnailaihirajiun Fatima is no more May Allah SWT forgives her shortcomings and reward her good deeds with Jannatil Firdaus. My sincere to condolence to her family and Especially Asacosa's members . May Allah SWT give them the fortitude to bear this great loss."

Reno Omokri has opined that Africans don’t need suit and tie and a white dress for weddings in 2021.
According to Reno, the entire structure of white wedding is fashioned for European culture and not Christian culture.
He advised couple who are getting married in 2021 to marry in their native African wears. He also said that some African Muslims are also wearing European fashion to get married.

A 29-year-old woman is facing five months in jail for defrauding her friends by tricking them into sponsoring her dream wedding by faking cancer.
Toni Standen of Widnes, Cheshire, made up a story that she had been diagnosed with terminal cancer and had just two months to live.
Friends launched a GoFundMe page to help her and her partner James have a ‘wedding they deserve’.
She has been jailed for five months and ordered to to repay a donation of £2,000 made by a local businessman.
The Crown Prosecution Service said that in June 2015 Standen told two of her friends, Ashlea Rowson and Jennifer Douglas, that she had been diagnosed with terminal vaginal cancer.
Ms Standen provided regular updates on her treatment to her friends with such clarity and detail that the condition was never questioned.
She also shaved her head to appear as though she was undergoing treatment and shared pictures of this on social media.
The fraudster later claimed to have two months to live and said her wish was to have her 57-year-old father Derek, who was dying of cancer, walk her down the aisle.
Her friends began fundraising to help fund the wedding which was held after the death of her father at St Bede’s Catholic Church in Widnes.
Her father Derek died before the wedding but a video he recorded was played on the big day.
One guest said:
‘After hearing her father’s laboured words she got up and gave a faultless speech, even cracking a few jokes.
‘Her mother and brother were in bits. We’d all just listened to a father of the bride message from beyond the grave.
‘Toni even received a video message from Everton FC, delivered by one of the top players. She laughed throughout.’
About 20 Generals have reportedly tested positive for COVID-19, one week after the death of the General Officer Commanding, 6 Division, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, Maj. Gen. John Irefin from complications arising from the disease.
The infected Generals reportedly had a contact with the deceased during the Chief of Army Staff’s annual conference 2020, in Abuja which was cancelled after the death of Irefin.
The conference was attended by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, pictured above; the Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi; and GOCs from nearly all the army divisions nationwide. They were all directed to go isolation thereafter, leading to the COAS not being able to attend the wedding of his son in Abuja on Friday December 11.
Punch reported that some of the infected GOCs and principal officers were being treated at the COVID-19 isolation centre, University of Abuja Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada, Abuja. Some of the patients were also being quarantined at other isolation centres in the Federal Capital Territory.

A 46-year-old American woman, Janine Sanchez Reimann, is in Nigeria to marry her lover, a 23-year-old Kano State indigene, Suleiman Isah.

A Zimbabwean woman has been arrested and arraigned before a court for marrying another man while still married to another.
The Sunday News reported that Moreblesing Maridza (41) of Platinum Park in Zvishavane, married another man after accusing her first husband of failing to be intimate with her for the past 12 years.
Maridza was arraigned before a court on charges of bigamy which she pleaded guilty to. She however told the court that her first husband, Mr James Chivandire had become mentally challenged and was no longer capable of performing his duties as a husband prompting her to marry the other man.
The publication reported that Chivandire allegedly fell and suffered from mental illness in 2000. In 2012 Maridza went on to marry a second husband, David Mhuru who she started living with after their wedding.
The matter only came to light in September when an officer at the Registrar-General’s office observed that Maridza had two valid marriage certificates.
Maridza was sentenced to six months in prison after being arraigned before a court. However, three months were suspended on condition that she pays a fine of $5 000 and the other three suspended on condition of she not committing a similar offense in the next five years.

According to reports, the deceased soldier was setto wed Mercy Chikodili Ogbonnaya on December 13,at St Peter’s Military Church in Ikorodu, Lagos.
It was further gathered that the couple have a little daughter who turned one on November 17, three days before his death.
Recall that the clash happened between- Customs personnel from Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Zone A, and smugglers in Igbo-Ora town on Friday, November 20.
The smugglers had attacked the customs officers and in a swift response to assist the FOU team, the Border Drill Patrol also came under attack.
Lieutenant Peter was shot and later died. Two otherpersons were reportedly killed in the clash.
A woman has left people concerned after she boasted online about finding the perfect dress for her big day then admitted she hasn't met her future husband.
The woman wowed an online wedding group when she gave details about finding the wedding dress of her dreams in an antique shop for just $20.
The woman wrote on a Facebook group: "Found my future wedding dress today.
"I fell in love with this dress and couldn't pass it up. It was only $20 and it fits perfectly."

I've ignored them for the longest now but according to the womb watchers on social media I have been pregnant for over a YEAR. So let me get this off my heart. Some people have flat stomachs naturally and some people have big stomachs naturally. The latter is ME. And when I'm on my period it is even BIGGER. I don't owe anyone a flat stomach but still I try to suck in my belly in every single picture and sometimes I do it better than others. The worst is that even when I'm proud of my 'sucking in skills' on a particular picture there is always SOMEONE who still comments something about pregnancy. This is a habit that HAS TO STOP.

First of all, women are more than baby making machines. A woman's fertility or decision to start a family is for her to decide, not for you to comment on in every single picture... Must our stomachs always be the first thing you look at??

Secondly, I'm not just speaking up for myself but for women in general. You may mean well when making pregnancy remarks but it is not always a compliment. For women who have had miscarriages, have been trying unsuccessfully for a baby, or simply conscious about their weight it can be very distressing, triggering and also puts a lot of undue pressure on them. So unless someone has announced a pregnancy or told you then please be nice and DONT COMMENT OR CONGRATULATE them on one.

Rofiah Salako, a Nigerian woman has boldly indicated interest in dating a Twitter user who bears the same surname as her.
It all began when a cloud engineer named Ayomide Salako tweeted a response to a Tweet shared by a popular Twitter influencer and a woman named Rofiah Salako went under his response to shoot her shot.
She tweeted: "Since you are having my surname already. I think, its of great opportunity for me not to change my surname again. If a chemistry can occur between- us. or what do you think?"
The man responded: "Feel free to DM."
The tweets have gone viral with Nigerians already planning their wedding for them in the replies.
